This is a salad that's served quite often in our house. I added avocado since I love it. It's still delicious even without it Olive oil and avocado is a great combination for people who care about their beauty since both have health-boosting properties.

Coating the Chinese cabbage with olive oil prevents it from releasing extra water when you sprinkle salt on top. Recipe by Pii chef

2 servings
  • 1/8Chinese cabbage
  • 1/2Avocado
  • 1Shio-kombu
  • 1 dashSalt
  • 1 dashBlack pepper
  • 1 tbspOlive oil
  • 2 tspLemon juice

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the Chinese cabbage and avocado into bite-sized pieces, then set aside.

  2. 2

    Pour on the olive oil over the Chinese cabbage, and mix well.

  3. 3

    Sprinkle with salt and pepper to adjust the taste. Add the avocado, and squeeze on the lemon juice.

  4. 4

    Top with shio-konbu at the end, and you're done.
