Thyme & Gouda Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

3 hrs 30 minutes
5-6 servings
  1. 1 bagyellow or gold potatoes
  2. 2 cupsfreshly shaved Parmesan Cheese
  3. 2 cupsGouda or Gruyère shredded cheese
  4. 2 tbspthyme chopped
  5. 2shallots
  6. 2 tbspbutter
  7. 1 (2 quart)ceramic baking dish
  8. 2 cupscream
  9. Salt n pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Turn oven to 300, use butter to butter ceramic dish set aside.

    Put cheese in bowl. Mix and remove 1/3 set aside. In bowl w more cheese add cream, thyme, shallots. Salt n pepper. Stir.

    Cut potatoes thin, add to cheese and cream mixture. Coat and arrange in pan standing tall, wedge potatoes in pan, pack them tight pour all cream and cheese.

    Use tinfoil, w spray cover potatoes. Bake for 2 hours on 300, every 30 minutes check and add extra cheese on tip keep covered.

    Turn oven to 325 add remaining cheese and take off foil. Allow to thicken, enjoy!
