Weekend Breakfasts are a treat for my daughter. She dreams up interesting combinations, which sometimes turn out really great😀In the absence of a waffle iron, the same mixture can be used to make drop scones..just heat a pan and oil it, drop a table spoon of the batter, several of them into the pan...once it bubbles and firms up, turn over. Both can be a breakfast treat or a dessert, experiment with various toppings☺ Ruth -
Whole Wheat Breakfast Waffles Whole Wheat Breakfast Waffles
Though normal waffles are really fluffy and great for a snack, for breakfast they don't really make you full enough and I'd worry about the nutritional content. So these are the waffles I make for breakfast. I use honey in place of sugar, and olive oil for the oil. They've got a nice texture, are full of nutrients, and are very filling.Since I place the bowl on a scale and weigh out all the ingredients as I go along, I listed everything in grams. Since these are for breakfast they aren't very sweet. Adjust the sugar accordingly. Recipe by Yukiline cookpad.japan -

Buttermilk Waffles Buttermilk Waffles
I use a waffle iron that was my grandmother’s. I can guess what decade it’s from, but I’m not sure enough to say. All I know is that I have bought other waffle irons in my life and they do not compare to this one. If you have one, hang onto it as long as you can. If you see one at a garage sale, get it! Maple Waffles Maple Waffles
I felt that normal waffles aren't really sweet enough. So I tried using maple sugar instead of regular sugar and they tasted better.Combined, the bread flour and cake flour should weigh 140 g. It doesn't matter which you use more of.Adjust the amount of maple sugar (or sugar). Recipe by ko-ko cookpad.japan
