Ingredients

15-20 mins. Prep Time: 10-15 mins.
2 servings
  1. 2 CupsBoiled, Peeled & Cut Up potatoes into medium-small cubes
  2. To Taste Salt: Sendha Namak
  3. 1 PinchSugar
  4. 1 tbspFresh Lemon Juice
  5. 1/2 tspRed Chilli Powder
  6. 1/2 tspTurmerics
  7. 2Whole Dry Red Chillies
  8. 1 tbspCumin Seeds
  9. 1 PinchHing/Asafoetida
  10. 1 tbspRoasted Cumins & Whole Dry Red Chilli Powder Powder
  11. 1 tspBlack Pepper Powder
  12. 1 tbspFresh Green Chillies: Finely Chopped- Optional
  13. 1/2 tspDry Roasted Pomegranates Seeds Powdered: Optional
  14. 1/4 CupFresh Coriander Leaves: Finely Chopped
  15. 3 tbspsGhee: For Cooking

Steps

15-20 mins. Prep Time: 10-15 mins.
  1. 1

    Heat up a frying pan over the medium flame: Add in the ghee to it & then, throw in the Tempering Spices- Sauté for a few seconds until it starts spluttering & release its aroma

  2. 2

    Add in the Boiled & Cut Up potatoes to it now & continue sautéing until its quite nicely combined and well blended together & get gently golden browned from all along- Checkout the seasoning part & adjust accordingly if that’s required- Add in the rest of the dry spices as aforesaid

  3. 3

    Once that’s done perfectly-
    Add in the freshly chopped coriander leaves into it- Give it all a really good mix-
    Flame goes off now, let it rest in its standing position for another 5-6 mins time before serving it piping hot with Puri/Paratha or similar suitable items during any fasting days

    Transfer it to a separate plate or directly to the serving platters-
    Garnish it your way to ENJOY YOUR FASTING this season 💁🏻‍♀️
