Ingredients

15 to 20 minutes
10 servings
  1. 1large bowl of dried curry leaves
  2. 1 tbspsplit chickpeas
  3. 1 tbspsplit black gram
  4. 1 tbspsesame seeds
  5. 2 tbspgrated dry coconut
  6. 1 tbspcoriander seeds
  7. 1 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1/2 tspasafoetida
  9. 5/6dry red chillies
  10. 1/2 tspsalt
  11. 1 tbspoil

Cooking Instructions

15 to 20 minutes
  1. 1

    Place pan on gas stove, add oil into the pan.

    Add chick peas fry for a minute, add black gram, fry again for a minute.

  3. 3

    Add coriander seeds. Cumin seeds, dry chillies, sesame seeds, grated coconut, asafoetida & salt. Fry again for two minutes stirring continuously.

    Cool the mixture, put it in a grinder and grind it coarse texture.

  5. 5

    Store this chutney in a jar and and keep it covered.

  6. 6

    Serve this chutney with dosa, rice, roti etc.
