Crepe Batter

This is not my recipe. I learned this recipe at Gino's Culinary Studio in NY. This recipe makes several crepes, about 15. You can either cut the recipe down or save the already made crepes in the fridge for use later.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Crack eggs into a bowl, then add salt. Mix.
- 2
Add milk, mix.
- 3
Add vanilla extract, mix.
- 4
Slowly add flour and mix
- 5
Let the batter rest for at least 10 mins so the flour can absorb the liquid.
- 6
Melt butter and mix in batter. Batter is ready for use to make crepes.
- 7
Heat a nonstick pan on medium heat.
- 8
Spread a thin layer of crepe batter on the pan and cook for 1.5 - 2 minutes. This may take some practice, I still struggle with it.
- 9
Flip crepe after 1.5 - 2 minutes and cook for another 1 - 1.5 minutes.
- 10
Crepes are ready to serve. I usually fill with Pac's Crepe Filling (https://cookpad.wasmer.app/us/r/16202868), nutella, and strawberries. However, you can put whatever you want in a crepe.

Delicious Crepe Batter Delicious Crepe Batter
I've loved crepes since I was little. I researched the ingredient combinations, the way of mixing the batter and the way to get a nice crepe pattern, to make what I think is the ideal crepe. If you mix the ingredients in order with a whisk, you won't need to sift the flour to get a smooth batter. Once the oil starts to disappear, the pattern won't be so pretty, so add more oil after cooking the 2nd/3rd crepe. Recipe by Tomusuke cookpad.japan -
Simple & Delicious Crepe Batter Simple & Delicious Crepe Batter
This is a crepe batter that I really like and have been making for a long time.Once the crepe has been flipped, just cook it for a short time so that it doesn't burn. If you plan to fill the crepes with sweet ingredients, they'll taste better if you increase the amount of sugar in the batter. If you are using a non-stick pan you shouldn't have to use too much oil (at least if nothing is sticking). Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

I modified the ingredient amounts of a crepe recipe that I found in a French recipe book.If you add the milk in gradually rather than all at once, it will help prevent lumps from forming. Also make sure to only add the butter a little at a time too! Recipe by BUNNYMOM cookpad.japan -

Follow me in Youtube: Albee Charis PonioCrepes are like pancakes but much thinner and lighter in texture. You can get creative with crepes. You can serve it sweet or savory. But I prefer my crepe filling sweet especially with fresh fruits. When we traveled to Japan, we went to Harajuku and it was crepe heaven! There crepes are not just pretty but they were delicious! Believe it or not, I finished 3 crepes. Strawberry, banana and creme brulee. It was so good. Here in Cebu, everytime we go to SM, we usually stop by crazy crepes. Thats how i love these simple but delicious dessert. Albee Charis Ponio -
When You Need Just a Little Crepe Batter When You Need Just a Little Crepe Batter
I wanted to make some crepe-wrapped ice cream for my family, so I worked out the amount of ingredients I would need to make just enough crepes.Mix the vegetable oil in well. Be careful about how hot the frying pan gets. If you double the amount of ingredients I recommend using 1 large (approx. 60 g) egg. Recipe by Maakunnookusan cookpad.japan -

Totally in love 😍 🥰 with this recipe that I found in one of my favorite food bloggers pages in Instagram. It’s thin and tender and deliciously buttery 😋 You can use any kinds of fillings you like. My favorite is always hazelnut spread and fresh strawberries 🍓 Hmmm now I’m thinking of making the chocolate version of this yummy crepe. What do you think? Do you also like chocolate crepe? 😊Please follow my Instagram @jenscookingdiary (Indonesian recipes) or @jenscookdineandtravel (English recipes) 🙏🏻 jenscookingdiary -
