Aunt Janice’s Spaghetti Pie

(This isn’t homemade sauces, but it’s a good comfort food if you want something quick and delicious.)
Ok so my Aunt makes hers in a pie shape, but I just did it in a casserole so mine is not a “pie”. But I never knew alfredo and spaghetti sauce went so well together! I tried this for the first time (we have a long line of amazing cooks in my family… Italians!) and it knocked my socks off! I hope you enjoy!

Ok so my Aunt makes hers in a pie shape, but I just did it in a casserole so mine is not a “pie”. But I never knew alfredo and spaghetti sauce went so well together! I tried this for the first time (we have a long line of amazing cooks in my family… Italians!) and it knocked my socks off! I hope you enjoy!

Preheat oven to 350°F

Cook pasta, do NOT over cook! Drain when done.

Dump both alfredo sauces in pot and season with all seasonings.

Add spaghetti and mix well. Taste sauce to adjust seasonings.

Add half and half to thin it out some. Mix well.

Dump in an 8x11 oven safe casserole dish (the size below the 13x9, I’m assuming it’s an 8x11?) And spread out evenly.

Bake in oven until it’s bubbling. Roughly 15-20 minutes.

Take out and put mozzarella on top evenly.

Bake again until brown for about 10-15 minutes.

Take it out and let it sit about 10-15 minutes. Heat up spaghetti sauce while ur waiting in a small pot.

To serve, spread some spaghetti sauce on the plate first and then cut a piece of the casserole and lay it on top. ENJOY!
