Ingredients

  • 2/3 cuptamarind concentrate (about 150 grams)
  • 7 tablespoonssugar (about 90 grams)
  • 5 tablespoonsfish sauce (about 75 ml)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoonschili sauce (about 22 ml)
  • 1 teaspoonsatay chili oil (about 5 ml)
  • Roasted peanuts, crushed
  • Chopped onion, minced garlic, and sliced fresh chili

    Place the tamarind in a bowl and mash it to extract the tamarind concentrate.
