Take boiled and mashed potatoes in a mixing bowl, and add ginger, garlic, and green chili paste. Mix it then add all powdered spices mentioned above for stuffing. Mix all well.

Take a pan add oil and heat it. add cumin seeds and asafoetida when cumin seeds started to splutter add the potato mixture. cook on medium to high flame for 3-4 minutes. Add coriander leaves. mix and switch off the flame. Keep aside and let it cool m

Meanwhile In another bowl add gram flour, semolina, and all powdered spices mentioned above for batter. mix and gradually add water and make a flowing consistency batter. Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Take one bread slice and place some amount of potato mixture spread evenly. cover with another piece of bread then cut into halves. I prepared all bread likewise.

Heat oil in a kadhai. dip the pakoda in the batter coated well then add it into oil and fry the pakoda in batches on medium to high flame. Transfer to a kitchen towel to absorb excess oil.

Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
