Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2chopped Onions
  2. 5garlic cloves
  3. 1 inchginger
  4. 1red pepper finely chopped
  5. 1 cuppeas
  6. 2carrots
  7. 3baby potatoes or 1 big potatoes
  8. 1big bunch of cauliflower
  9. 3/4 tinchopped tomatoes
  10. 2 tbspoil
  11. 1 tspasafoetida
  12. 2heap tsp of pau Bhaji masala
  13. 2 tspkasmiri chili powder
  14. 2 tspsalt. extra if needed
  15. 1 tbspbutter

Steps

  1. 1

    Steam the vegetables (cauliflower, carrots, potatoes and peas) until soft

  2. 2

    Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add 1 tsp of asafoetida. let it cook for 1 mins

  3. 3

    Add chopped onions in the pan and cook until caramelised

  4. 4

    Add ginger and garlic paste into pan and cook for couple mins

  5. 5

    Add red peppers into pan and cook until soft

  6. 6

    Whilst everything is cooking mush all the steamed veggies

    Add 3/4 tin chopped tomatoes and cook for around 5 mins or until soft

  8. 8

    Add 2 heap tsp of pau Bhaji masala, 1 tsp of garam masala, 2 tsp of kashmiri chilli powder and 1 tbsp of butter. Cook for 2 mins

  9. 9

    Add some water until you get a good gravy. cover the lid and cook for around 1 mins

    Add the steamed vegetable to the pan and stir. add some more water with it if needed
