Aloo mixture:- Heat oil in a kadai add the chopped onions saute for few mins, add ginger garlic paste, stir for a few mins, add chopped green chilli saute for a minute,add haldi powder, red chilli powder, jeera powder and dhania powder stir fry for few mins then add the boiled and mashed potatoes, chopped coriander leaves and mix well,cook for 2 to 3 mins stirring continuously. Off the flame and remove it in a bowl. Keep aside to cool

For the batter:- Take besan chilli powder, haldi powder baking soda and salt in a large bowl mix it well,then add enough water to make a thick smooth lump free batter

Form the aloo chops: Lightly oil your palms take a small portion of the aloo mixture roll it into a ball and then flatten it to form a smooth disk. Keep in a greased plate,repeat the same for the remaining aloo mixture

Heat enough oil in a kadai for frying. Dip one aloo chop in the batter,hold it above the batter bowl so that excess batter drips off, then place it carefully in the hot oil,fry till golden on both sides. Remove and keep on a kitchen paper towel so that excess oil is absorbed. Serve with tomato ketchup or Chutney
