Boil chole with salt and water for 6-7 whistles. Keep aside.
(I don't need to add baking soda, but you can add 1/4 th tsp baking soda while boiling,if your chole remains hard)
Next heat kadhai with oil.
Put chopped onion and saute till brownish.
Next add the prepared masala paste.
Add salt carefully and also add all the mentioned dry masalas except garam masala and amchoor powder. Add kasuri methi. Add little water and cook till masala leaves oil. - 2
Next into the cooked masala, add the boiled chole. Give a nice mix.
Let it be on slow heat for some time.
As flavours combine well with each other, add garam masala and amchoor powder.
Mix again.
Let it be on slow heat for a minute or two.
Switch the flame off.
It's ready!! - 3
Serve hot with rice/ phulka
