Ingredients

  • 1/2 kgcarrot
  • 250 mlmilk
  • 1/4 cupchenna
  • 1/4 cupsugar
  • 1/4 cupcondensed milk
  • 5cardamom powder
  • 3 tbspghee
  • Pinchsalt
  • 15cashew nuts
  • 15almonds
  • 10dry grapes
  • 1/2 cupwater

    Wash and peel the carrot well. Grate with a food processor. use the fine grater.

    Take a pressure cooker add in grated carrot and add 1/2 cup water close the lid and pressure cook for 4 whistles. Then turn off the flame

    Next, take a heavy bottom nonstick pan to add cooked carrot and add milk mix it well. Cover and cook few minutes.

    Then add cardamom seed, chenna, condensed milk, sugar, and salt mix well and continue to cook on medium heat.

    You will see the carrot begin to release moisture.

    Then add 2 tbsp ghee mix it well and sauté until a nice aroma comes out.

    When the milk evaporates turn it off. Garnish with chopped cashew, almond, and grapes.

    Serve carrot halwa hot or chill enjoy.
