Tomato Radish curry (Mooli ki sabji)

Radish ,very common in salad is a root crop and it is pungent or sweet in taste with lot of juice .Generally people do not prefer it because of it pungent smell but it can made into a tasty curry in combination with tomatoes.Try this curry and enjoy its benefits .In suggestion of my mother ,I started eating and cooking this vegetable .

Clean and peel the skin of radish,cut into small pieces.Dice the tomatoes into small pieces. Heat oil in sauce pan,add 1/2 tsp of jeera,1/2 tsp of mustard seeds,hing,curry leaves.Add tomatoes to it and mix well.cook for 5 mins.Add radish,salt,turmeric and chilli powder,allow it cook till it is soft.

Mix besan with little salt and chilli powder and pour water and make into smooth paste

Add this mixture to cooked radish and mix well.cook it till it becomes dry.

Remove from flame and serve it hot and fresh with rice and chapati.
