Ingredients

20 minutes
2 people
  1. 2 portionsSalmon
  2. Vegetable Oil (sub any other high heat oil)
  3. Marinade
  4. 1 1/2 TbspLow Sodium Soy Sauce
  5. 1/2 Tbsprice vinegar
  6. 1 tspSesame Oil
  7. 1 tspGinger
  8. 2 tspGarlic
  9. 1/2 tspCrushed Red Pepper
  10. 1-2 tspSriracha
  11. 2 tspBrown Sugar (can sub honey)

Cooking Instructions

20 minutes
  1. 1

Mix all marinade ingredients in a large ziplock bag. Add salmon to bag and marinate in fridge for at least 30 minutes
Note- you cannot marinate overnight as soy and vinegar will break down the fish

  2. 2

Preheat skillet to medium high heat. Drizzle pan with high heat oil. Add fish skin side up and cook covered for 5 minutes. Reduce temperature to medium heat. Flip carefully and cook covered for an addition 5 minutes. Uncover and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.

Note - this recipe cooks the fish medium-well. You can adjust cooking time for preferred doneness.

  3. 3

I like to serve with white rice and vegetables OR create a cooked salmon “poke” bowl
