Ingredients

6 to 10people.
  1. 350 grams.Maida(all-purpose flour)
  2. 150 grams.koya (sweeten)
  3. 100 grams.cashew nut paste
  4. 2 tsp.Elaichi powder
  5. .pista quarter cup
  6. .walnut powder quarter cup.
  7. .Sugar half cup
  8. .puff chana dal powder quarter cup
  9. .coconut grated half cup
  10. 350 grams.refined oil
  11. .cooking soda half tsp
  12. .salt a pinch..

Steps

0ne hour.
  1. 1

    First prepare your dough pour the flour add a pinch of salt,half tsp of cooking soda add little bit of water slowly make a dough like Puri dough keep it aside fir sometime.

    Then prepare your inside stuff slowly..prepare your coconut grate it slowly.keep it aside cut your cashew nut,almond,pista,walnut make a powder consistency keep it aside..And add in your Koya(sweeten)material add sugar powder also in this materials and finally add your other materials like cardamon powder,roasted chana dal powder and your coconut grated coconut...

    Everything mix it nicely keep it a bowl.

    Next step is already prepared dough take dough and with help of your cutter make it round shape inside the modak material already prepared material take half tsp cover it close it press gently with your cutter..your will get a good shape prepare all your modak.

    Take a kadai pour your refined oil let the material heat it and control your flame one by one fry in to golden colour all your kaju,coconut modak.all your modak will be ready by 25minutes..
