Traditional, Popular,delicious, protein rich beverage from Bihari cuisine prepared with sattu flour, lemon juice,rock salt, mint leaves. I added sabja seeds also to make it more nutritious.

Steps

Grind roasted garam, chilli piece and salt in mixer jar to smooth flour like mixture.

Dissolved this spicy sattu flour in little water to make smooth paste.

Transfer this prepared sattu mixture in deep container. Add black rock salt, chopped mint leaves, lemon juice. Blend for few minutes.

In serving glass add icecubes, soaked basil/ sabja seeds. On it pour prepared sattu drink.

Serve/ relish delicious cool refreshing Basil-Sattu Drink garnishing with mint leaves and lemon slice as shown.
