1. Add all the ingredients to chicken except onion, cardamom, cloves and oil.
2. Mix well and marinate for at least 2 hrs.

3. Heat oil in a heavy bottom kedhai
4. Add cardamom and cloves to hot oil followed by chopped onion.
5. Fry till onion turns light brown.

6. Add chicken alongwith the marinade.
7. Cover and cook on low heat till it dries.
8. Remove the cover and keep frying till oil separates.
