A friend gave me some figs from her garden, so I thought I’d add them to the tomato salad I was already planning to make. The flavors went together beautifully!

Ingredients

Serves 2 servings

5-6tomatoes, sliced into half-moons or strips
2-3figs, sliced into half-moons or strips
1red onion, thinly sliced into half-moons
Feta cheese, as much as you like
Salt
Olive oil

Mix the tomatoes and onion in a large bowl.

Add salt, taste, and let sit for 10 minutes to let the flavors blend.

Add the figs, feta, and olive oil.
Ready to serve!
