Dice the shallots, onion, and tomatoes finely. Toast the baguette until crispy, then quickly crumble it into the 14 oz of meat.

Mix the 14 oz of ground meat with the ingredients listed for the meatballs above, mix well, and form into balls. Steam for 12 minutes. After steaming, let the meatballs cool.

For the sauce: Use 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a hot pan, add finely chopped shallots and sauté until fragrant. When the shallots are fragrant, add the finely chopped tomatoes and stir until they break down, then add 4 1/4 cups of water. Season with spices. Once the sauce boils, add the steamed meatballs to the sauce.

Cook for another 10 minutes. Serve in a bowl, sprinkle with scallions, cilantro, ground pepper, and a bit of chili for aroma!
