Wash the rice and marinate it for at least 30 mins.

Marinate the pork for at least 30 mins also.

Prepare fried shallot (optional).

In a pot, add enough water (1:13 rice:Water) and bring to boil. Add rice in and remember to stir it a little bit to stop it stick to the bottom of the pot.

Do not cover the lid and let it boil for about 40 mins or until rice is broken up.

Add pork, ginger, eggs in. cook for about 5 mins. Keep the same heat.

Sprinkle salt and white pepper in.

Add spring onion and serve.
