Scrappy Soup

It was cold outside and I was not in the mood for a grocery run so a quick and resourceful dinner would have to suffice. I scraped together what I could find from an empty kitchen and simmered my way to a concoction worth saving.
The chicken broth carried a deep and full bodied flavor complimented by a warm aromatic flutter from the jalapeno.

Dry tilapia, massage in a teaspoon of oil, and sprinkle with Ms. Dash Garlic & Herb Seasoning

On medium to high heat sear each side of the tilapia until cooked and then lightly shred the fish.
Add the sliced jalapenos while the fish I searing

Add chopped veggies and allow to fry for about 2-3 mins

Add chicken broth until the contents in the bowl are covered and simmer for about 5 mins

Immediately serve with warm bread of your choice
