Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seed and asafoetida.

When the seeds to splutter, add chopped onion, and green chili, and saute for 2 minutes. Now add chopped tomatoes

Now add green peas, and salt and let it cook for 3 minutes.
Add potatoes along with coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder amchur powder, and chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
