Steps
- 1
Peel the honeybell orange remove the seeds and slice the plugs into thirds. We call the sections plugs here in Florida. I cut and remove seeds in a plate to retain the citrus juices. Same with the tomatoes. Dice the tomato.
- 2
Add the bits and juice to a bowl. Wash and core the apples. Dice the apples. Get the nuts and seeds.
- 3
Add these ingredients to the bowl. Add the lemon juice and a long with the citrus juices you saved when cutting the orange, mix coating everything especially the apples. This will keep the apples from turning brown from oxidation. Add the lettuce and top with cheese.
- 4
Add your desired dressing. Serve, I hope you enjoy!!!!
