Heat a kadhai with oil. Splutter rye and cumin seeds. Add chana dal, urad dal, fresh green chillies and curry leaves.
Next add chopped onion and grated ginger. Saute for some time.
Next add the chopped vegetables and the peas. Add salt needed for the vegetables. Add turmeric powder. Cook till vegetables are softened. - 2
Next add the chiwda.

Add salt as needed. Put sugar and mix gently. Squeeze half a lemon.
Give a nice gentle mix. - 4
Add chopped coriander leaves and mix. Finally add fried peanuts and mix.
Ready to serve!! - 5
Take chiwda upma on your plate.put farsan/ mixture.sip chai and enjoy!
