Steps
- 1
Firstly, finely chopped the methi leaves, green onion and garlic. Keep it ready.
- 2
- 3
Now, add curd and gradually add water to make a batter. The batter should not be too thin or thick. The consistency should be such that it can drop from the spatula. Cover and let the batter rest for about 15-20 minutes.
- 4
Then add chopped veggies and mix well.
Further, add soda to the batter just before making the chillas. Do not keep the batter for long after adding soda. - 5
Now, heat a non-stick tawa or pan on medium heat. Spread about a teaspoon of oil on tawa. And pour a spoonful of batter. (If you want you can spread the batter gently with the back of the ladle).
Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top. (If you don't like the flavor of sesame seeds, then Skip this step) - 6
Once the top cooks a bit, spread oil on it and flip it over, press gently, and cook the other side. Cook till both sides of the chilla turn golden brown.
- 7
Serve hot with tomato ketchup and green chutney. Enjoy 😊
