Makes 9 burgers and 4 meatballs.
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2
Grate the rusks.
- 3
Mix the ground beef, eggs, grated rusks, vinegar, and spices.
- 4
Lay plastic wrap on the counter, centered, with extra on both sides.
- 5
Place the beef mixture on it.
- 6
Cover again with plastic wrap. (Essentially, make a 'sandwich' with the beef between the plastic wrap.)
- 7
Roll out into a thin 'sheet' using a rolling pin.
- 8
Use a large cup as a cutter to cut out 9 large burgers.
👉 They will shrink and puff up a bit when baking.
- 9
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and oil it.
- 10
Place the burgers on it.
- 11
With the remaining beef, form 4 meatballs.
- 12
Bake for exactly 20 minutes.
- 13
Remove from the oven and turn it off.
- 14
If you want to add cheese, do it now, and return to the turned-off oven for 1-2 minutes until it melts.
