Til ke Ladoo is a traditional Sweet made during Makar Sankranti which are made from simple ingredients readily available at home.. til, gud (jaggery) and ghee. Peanuts can also be added to it. Elaichi (cardamom) powder is also added to enhance the flavour.

Steps

Heat a broad pan on low flame and add sesame seeds (til). Stirring continuously dry roast on low flame for 5 to 8 mins. Remove in a plate and keep aside.

Heat ghee on low flame in deep pan. Add roughly chopped jaggery. Mix well and cook for 5 to 6 mins stirring continuously. Add sesame seeds, cardamom powder, mix well and cook for a minute or two. Switch off the flame.

Transfer the mixture to a greased plate and let it cool down for 1 to 2 mins. Grease your hands with little ghee, take small portion from the prepared mixture and make a ball from it. Similarly make all the balls from the prepared mixture. Allow it to cool completely.

Store in an airtight container and enjoy.
