Wash your rice grits with water and keep aside then pour water into your steamer make sure that the water will not touch your rice grits and then take your rice grits into your steamer and cover the steamer then turn on your stove and allow it for about 30 minutes

Wash all your vegetables and cut them according to the shape and size you want, cut your onions and blend your Scotch bonnet and some onions and keep aside

Turn off your stove and take your half done rice grits into a big bowl and add your vegetable oil, your cut veggies and onions, your blend Scotch bonnet, your seasoning, curry and time and mix them all together and take it back to your steamer cover it and turn on your stove for another 30 minutes and your dambun shinkafa will be ready to serve.
