Chilli Chinese Prawns with Rice

Add the sesame oil in the pan and let it warm. Add the thawed prawns and leave them frying for 2 minutes on each side. Remove the prawns to a bowl for later use.

Prepare a pot of boiling water and add the rice. The rice will take 10 - 15 minutes to be ready, in the meantime continue to prepare the sauce for the prawns.

Add the chopped garlic and ginger to the frying pan and leave for a couple of minutes. Add the soy sauce, honey, chopped chillies, Sriracha, and 100 mL of water. Let it simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.

Return the previously cooked prawns to the frying pan together with the sauce and mix to coat the prawns with the sauce. Leave for 5 minutes.

Once the prawns are ready, remove it from the frying pan and garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions.
Serve the rice at the side.
