Kesar Dry-fruits Milk

Soak some Kesar strands in 2-3 tablespoon of hot or warm milk for 2 hours. Chop almonds, pistachios and cashew nuts, raisins (black and golden).

Grind some almonds, cashews, pistachios in a mixer bowl and make powder.(Optional)

Heat half teaspoon of ghee in a saucepan on low flame. Once the ghee is hot, add chopped almonds, pistachios, cashews, raisins and saute for few seconds.

Next add milk and bring to a boil. When the milk boils, add the saffron milk and let it boil for 7-8 minutes on medium heat. Stir constantly.

Now add sugar, dry fruits powder and boil till sugar dissolves completely. Taste, add more sugar if needed.

Cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Saffron dry fruits milk is ready, switch off the gas. Serve the milk warm or refrigerate for at least 2 hours and serve cold.

Pour the Kesar dry-fruits milk into a glass and serve hot or lukewarm.
