Butter-Miso Sautéed White Fish

There's miso butter ramen noodles and I thought miso and butter are a good combination; so I seasoned pan-fried white fish.

I used sole fish this time. You can also use Spanish mackerel or salmon.
Add a small amount of minced parsley or onion, or grated garlic to the miso butter mixture for different flavours. For 2 servings. Recipe by Mmax

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2 filletsWhite fish
  2. 1Miso
  3. 10 gramsButter
  4. 1enough to soak the white fish Sake
  5. 1 dashSpinach
  6. 2Cherry tomatoes
  7. 1 dashDaikon radish sprouts

Steps

    These are the ingredients. (I forgot to take a picture of the cherry tomatoes.)

    Soak the white fish in sake for 10-15 minutes.

  3. 3

    Combine the miso and butter.

  4. 4

    Remove the fish from the sake, and drain excess water. Spread the miso butter mixture on top.

  5. 5

    Preheat a toaster oven. Place the fish on a tray, and bake until lightly browned (at 200℃ / 400℉, for about 7 minutes).

  6. 6

    In the meantime, boil spinach, and make it ohitashi-style (lightly boiled spinach with seasoned with dashi).

  7. 7

    When the fish is baked, serve on a plate, and it's done. (Since Christmas is approaching, I garnished it with holiday decorations).
