This weekend we discovered a farmer’s market where lots of stands selling various fresh goods. One of them caught my eyes cause they were selling handmade rye bread! It opens my memory back in the days when I was studying in Denmark, I then thought I must get some rye bread from then and make open sandwiches etc

Ingredients

10 minutes
2 servings
  1. 2 slicesrye bread
  2. about 75g of brie chess
  3. few squeezes of honey
  4. salt and pepper

Cooking Instructions

10 minutes
  1. 1

Cut Rye bread into stripes, also brief cheese

  2. 2

Heat the sliced bread striped with brie cheese. It’s easier to use non-stick pan for this step. Alternatively, you can also bake them in oven. I guess 160C for about 10-15 minutes should do the trick.

  3. 3

Arrange in plate. Mine theme today is bonfire. Squeeze some honey to add to the flavor. Add a little bit of salt and pepper if you like.
