Heat oil in a kadai add asafoetida, crushed garlic, chopped green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder and saute few minutes then add boiled mashed potatoes and mix it well.

Now add salt and coriander leaves, mix it properly well and keep aside for cool down.

Making batter -
Take a bowl add all batter ingredients and mix it well then add water gradually and make a smooth batter. - 4
Heat sufficient oil in a kadai.Make a medium size ball of potatoes mixture and deep into the besan batter and fry them till golden brown. Take out in a absorbent paper. Vada is ready.

Same kadai add besan batter and fry some besan crumbs and take out in a absorbent paper. Keep aside. Then fry Slit green chillies and keep aside.

Heat oil in a kadai add peanuts and garlic cloves and fry them well then add salt, red chilli powder, besan batter crumbs and mix it well. Turn off the flame and cool down.

Now transfer it to a mixer grinder and coarsely grind it. Vada Pav peanuts chutney is ready.

Assemble Mumbai style Vada Pav -. Now make a cut in a Pav, spread dry prepared peanut chutney inside it, and put fried vada, green chili. Serve it more peanuts chutney. Enjoy hot Vada Pav.
