Steps
- 1
Banana florets needs to be checked thoroughly. First of all it is important to remove the calyx and then the rubber like pistil without fail. As these both are not cooked and are therefore discarded. Do the same for all the florets and then wash them under running water and keep them immersed in a bowl with some salt to prevent them from turning darker due to the oxidation process. Chop them coarsely.
- 2
Heat coconut oil in a pan. Add black mustard seeds. Let them splutter on a low heat. Now goes in the chopped onion. Also goes in the dry red chillies and the ginger-garlic green chilli paste with some salt. Saute it well until light brown. It's time to add the other powdered spices along with the banana florets now. Mix well. Cover and cook until soft and done.
- 3
It gets done quickly in almost about 18 to 20 minutes. Garnish with lots of chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot to your families for breakfast with rotis or chapatis. Or even lunch or dinner alongside chawal or rice. Enjoy!
