These Homemade Hamburger Buns are incredibly fast, easy and delicious! In less than an hour, you can have soft and fluffy hamburger buns without going to the store.

Today I had a craving for burgers and didn’t want to go to the store. The nearest take-away sell lame burgers! Instead, I decided to bake these burger buns for the fish burger.
The buns turned out to be pretty awesome in under 30 minutes! From now on, no more buying burger buns. One thing I like about this recipe is that there is no proofing-shroofing of the dough. Just activate the yeast with some warm water, sugar and oil, for 5 minutes, or till the mixture has become foamy.
Next, mix in an egg, flour, and salt. Continue to add flour until you have a soft dough. Shape the dough into a ball and divide into 8 pieces. Shape each piece into a ball, then arrange on a greased or lined baking sheet. Cover and allow rise for 10 minutes.
Egg wash and sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake and within 8 minutes you will have soft, fluffy and golden hamburger buns, fresh from the oven.
I used frozen fish burger patties. I just placed the patties in the air fryer for 20 minutes at 200C. Once done, just assembled the burger. Did not have coleslaw to top the burger with.
Craving satisfied!

  3. 3

With the hook attachment, mix the flour until a soft dough is formed, about 3-5 minutes.
