A whole chicken leg and thigh fits on my rotisserie in my little airfryer, no oil needed since it bastes in its own fat from the skin as it turns round and round.

Ingredients

45 minutes
2 people
  1. 1 poundChicken leg and thigh
  2. Enough lemon juice to wash the chicken
  3. PinchSea salt, granulated garlic, sweet paprika powder

Cooking Instructions

45 minutes
  1. 1

Bring chicken leg and thigh to room temperature, wash, rub with garlic, salt and paprika powder, slide rotisserie skewers into thigh and drumstick, tighten. Put drip tray underneath, position rotisserie spit in center holes, turn on preset 30 minutes, 400F degrees.

  2. 2

With a rotisserie, all the fat melts out of the chicken, the skin gets crispy and juicy, the kitchen smells delicious, the airfryer speeds up the cooking process, and the food comes out perfect. The chicken is fall-off-the-bone tender. I can recommend a rotisserie.

  3. 3

The rotisserie also comes with a cage that holds a chicken leg and thigh and french fries: this is how the chicken comes out with fries after 30 minutes, needs another 15 minutes, or 450 degrees instead of 400F..

I teach people at the farmers market to grow small scale fruits and vegetables. My grandparents and parents taught me growing, cooking and preserving home grown fruits and vegetables, eggs, meats and fish. I got certified by the University of California Master Gardener Program in 2005. I try to bring out the original flavor of ingredients, then add layers of spices, herbs and flavorings that enhance, not distort the taste. These are the global, organic and vegan family recipes we use.
