California Farm Rotisserie Chicken in the Air Fryer
A whole chicken leg and thigh fits on my rotisserie in my little airfryer, no oil needed since it bastes in its own fat from the skin as it turns round and round.
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Bring chicken leg and thigh to room temperature, wash, rub with garlic, salt and paprika powder, slide rotisserie skewers into thigh and drumstick, tighten. Put drip tray underneath, position rotisserie spit in center holes, turn on preset 30 minutes, 400F degrees.
- 2
With a rotisserie, all the fat melts out of the chicken, the skin gets crispy and juicy, the kitchen smells delicious, the airfryer speeds up the cooking process, and the food comes out perfect. The chicken is fall-off-the-bone tender. I can recommend a rotisserie.

The rotisserie also comes with a cage that holds a chicken leg and thigh and french fries: this is how the chicken comes out with fries after 30 minutes, needs another 15 minutes, or 450 degrees instead of 400F..

Costco is the largest supermarket in our little town. They sell a whole hot 3 pound rotisserie baby chicken for $5. Ideal for people in a hurry, enough food for a week for dinner for one.3 Pounds of Fresh Frozen chicken quarters costs $2.26, easily roasted if you have time to thaw and roast, at less than half of the cost of a Costco chicken. See my cookpad recipes in here for leg quarters.Since the hot rotisserie chicken is already salted but barely seasoned, it lends itself to be made into these totally different dinners. Enjoy. Instant Pot Rotisserie Chicken Instant Pot Rotisserie Chicken
Looking for dinner ideas for the fryer chicken we found on sale at our local grocery store we stumbled upon this recipe online and added some changes - mostly cause I didn’t have all the ingredients. It turned out to be flavourable, moist and it drove our turkey loving cat wild. He was begging and he does not beg except for Turkey. This should tell you how fantastic it was. Just a note I am becoming more like the cooks you see on TV. Generous with portions and may not exactly measure. I may have added more of the spices I love and was less generous with the ones I do not love. Katatonickat -

Spicy rotisserie chicken salad Spicy rotisserie chicken salad
Leftover rotisserie chicken? Really too much left, to just throw away? Make a salad! I love spicy food, so this is how I make my chicken salad. Adjust amount of ingredients, to make the amount you want. For this, I only had maybe 1/4 of garlic butter rotisserie chicken & 1/4 of original rotisserie chicken. My family tends to devour the chicken, so I have to set some aside, before I serve dinner :) Lena -
