Ingredients

1hr
4 servings
  1. 4Chicken Thighs (Cooked and Shredded)
  2. 4 BlocksKnife Cut Noodles
  3. Sauce
  4. 2 TbspPeanut Butter
  5. 2 TbspSesame Oil
  6. 1 TbspLao Gan Ma
  7. 1 TbspSugar
  8. 0.5 TbspChicken Boullion
  9. Minced Garlic Paste
  10. 6Garlic Cloves
  11. PinchKosher Salt
  12. Toppings (Optional)
  13. 30Chinese Peanuts (Crushed)
  14. Chopped Scallions

Cooking Instructions

1hr
  1. 1

Cook the noodles according to package instructions

  2. 2

Cool the noodles down by rinsing in cold running water in a strainer or colander

  3. 3

Combine all the sauce ingredients together and set aside

  4. 4

Create a minced garlic paste by either using a garlic press or by creating it yourself if you don't have one. To create it yourself, first mince the garlic and then sprinkle some kosher salt. Then "press" your knife against the garlic onto the cutting board making a sweeping motion. Repeat until desired paste texture. The idea here is to release the juices from the garlic bulb without having clumps of garlic in the sauce. Once done, add to the sauce.

  5. 5

To a bowl, add noodles, shredded chicken, and sauce. Stir to combine. Serve with toppings such as chili oil, garlic paste, scallions, or crushed Chinese peanuts. Serve cold and enjoy!
