Ingredients

20 minutes
1 pot
  • Broth
  • 1/2onion, sliced
  • 3–4 tablespoons shacha sauce
  • Soy sauce, to taste
  • About 6 1/3 cups water (about 1500 ml)
  • Ingredients
  • Thinly sliced pork shoulder (marinade: soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice wine, sugar)
  • Napa cabbage, corn, king oyster mushrooms, and assorted hot pot ingredients (your choice)

Steps

20 minutes
  1. 1

    Marinate the pork for 15 minutes. Wash and prepare all other ingredients.

  2. 2

    In a pot, sauté the onion until fragrant. Add the pork slices and stir-fry until they change color.

  3. 3

    Add water and shacha sauce. Add the ingredients that take longer to cook and bring to a boil.

  4. 4

    Once boiling, add the remaining ingredients. Season with soy sauce and bring to a boil again. Done!

  5. 5

    Serve with noodles for a warm and comforting noodle soup.
