Whole Wheat Fettuccine with Garlic Shrimp and Vegetables

Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain the fettuccine.

Heat a skillet with the olive oil and sauté the garlic and vegetables over medium heat.

Add the fettuccine and toss with the vegetables. Season with salt and pepper.

In another skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Sauté the garlic without browning it. Add the shrimp, parsley, salt, and pepper, and cook, stirring, until the shrimp turn pink. Do not overcook to keep the shrimp tender.

Serve the pasta topped with the garlic shrimp.
