Broken Wheat Porridge { Rajasthani Delicacy Doodh Ka Kheech }

In a pressure cooker take 4 cups of water & keep for boiling ; add 1 tbsp ghee
Add broken wheat { kheech }
Pressure cook it for 10 min { take 1 whistle on medium heat & lower down the temperature to sim & let is cook for 10 minutes

When the pressure of the pressure cooker cools down open the cooker you can warm milk in kadai also
Add warm milk & little saffron ; cook on medium heat till it becomes little thick {keep on stirring the milk otherwise it would stick to the bottom }
Add sugar & cook for 10 min ; Add ghee & stir it nicely so that ghee mixes nicely

Then add sliced almonds, pista, cardamom powder & saffron { if you like add kismish }
Kheech is ready to serve hot

Note …
How to remove the husk of the wheat :-
1. Spread the whole wheat on a big tray (thali) Sprinkle the water over it
Let it soak for half an hour
Then slightly crush it in the big motor & a pastel or in a food processor Rub it between your hands & remove its outer layer which is called husk
Let it dry for 1 hour in sun light and then grind it coarsely like dalia / broken wheat
