Ingredients

1 1/3 lbs

1 cupbutter
1 1/2teaspoon vanilla
1teaspoon salt
1 cupsugar
2 cupflour
1 cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cupfinely chopped walnuts (and or pecans)

Preheat oven @ 375

Combine margarine, vanilla, & salt in bowl, blend well. Gradually beat in sugar. Add flour, choc chips & 3/4 cup walnuts, mix well. Press evenly using wax paper in increased 15x10x1 pan. Sprinkle 1/4 cup walnuts over top & press in lightly.

Bake at 375 for 25 minutes or until golden brown. After baking, cool then break into irregular pieces
