Mix together the dressing ingredients. Chop the Japanese leek into 4-5 cm pieces, sprinkle with salt and olive oil (not listed above).

Grill the Japanese leek on a grill or in a toaster oven until golden brown (about 10 minutes in an oven set to 200℃). Be careful not to burn them!

Soak the leeks in the dressing while still hot. Stir them up once or twice while marinating, and serve after about 5-10 minutes.
