Tear the cabbage into large pieces. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sugar, and sake. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add a little vegetable oil, and cook the beef.

When the beef starts to change color, add the sauce mixture and stir well to coat.

Add the cabbage and stir-fry, mixing gently until combined.
