Sift baking powder, flour and salt together
- 2
Whisk egg, milk and sugar in a separate bowl
- 3
Make a well in the dry ingredients
- 4
Add milk and eggs mixture to the well
- 5
Mix to a very soft dough. Add milk if necessary

Heat the oil to between 180°C and 190°C. You need enough oil to deep fry

Ladle spoonfuls of batter to the Kim
- 8
Bake until brown on both sides then remove from pan

Use a paper towel to mop up excess oil
- 10
Serve with jam, syrup or anything else you're willing to try
