Soak chickpea overnight

Cook chickpea in pressure cooker for one whistle

Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seed

Add curry leaves, sliced onions, garlic, green chilli saute till onions are golden brown

Add tomatoes stir and mix well for 2 minutes

Add chilli powder, turmeric, coriander and mix well for 2 minutes

Now add cooked chick, it should have enough water add more if necessary

Simmer the curry for 8-10 minutes

Add garam masala, mix and simmer for 2 minutes this is added last so its flavour will be more predominent

Add coconut milk, mix well, simmer it for 2 more minutes

Add curry leaves for garnish
