Ingredients

  • meatballs
  • 1 lbground beef
  • 1small onion, diced
  • 3garlic cloves, minced
  • 1egg
  • 1/4 cuppanko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tspsambal chili sauce
  • 2 tspgrated fresh ginger
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • sauce
  • 4 tbssoy sauce
  • 2 tbshoney
  • 1 tbsSriracha
  • 1 tspsesame oil
  • 3 tbswater or chicken broth
  • 2garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbscorn starch
  • 1fresh bird's eye chili, chopped small

  1. 1

    In a bowl, mix your meatball ingredients. Form your meatballs and set aside.

  2. 2

    In a separate bowl, mix your sauce ingredients and set aside.

  3. 3

    Heat a little oil in a large pan and brown your meatballs on all sides. Once browned, add your sauce and bring everything to a bubble until sauce is thickened. About 10 min

  4. 4

    Serve with chopped peanuts (we used almonds as my son has a peanut allergy) and chopped fresh cilantro.
