Ingredients

25 minutes
4 servings
  • 1 cuphorsegram flour or Kulith flour
    Swaminarayan Temple Khichdi
  • 1 cupwhole wheat flour
    Vrat Ka Paratha
  • 1/4 cupbesan
  • 1/4 cuprice flour
  • 1 cupwashed and chopped methi leaves
  • 1/4 cupwashed and chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tablespoonchopped green chillies
  • 1 tablespoonginger garlic paste
  • 1 tspeach turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder
  • 1.5 tspeach salt and chilli powder
  • 1 tspsesame seeds
  • 1 tspomum seeds
  • 1 tspcrushed jeera
  • 1/2 cupcurd to mix
  • 1/4 cupwater or more to knead
  • 1 tspoil for each paratha

Steps

25 minutes

    First, mix all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix well. Adjust spice and mix to a rough as needed for Paratha.

    Then cover with a kitchen towel and keep the dough to rest for 15 min. Till then, assemble the items to roll out paratha and keep the skillet to heat. Keep a hot box ready to keep the paratha, lined with a cloth to absorb the heat.

    Then roll out medium sized balls from the dough and make a round disk. Roast on a hot skillet from both sides. Apply 1 tsp oil or ghee and roast again till crisp. Keep covered in a casserole or hot box.

    Then make all the parathas similarly. Serve hot with fresh yoghurt, pickle, chutney or any curry. Enjoy protein rich, healthy #horsegramparatha
