Hard-boil the egg, then peel it. Mash the yolk and finely chop the white separately. Chop the imitation crab sticks. Mix everything together with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, salt, and pepper.

Roughly chop the cabbage and grate the carrot. Add the remaining mayonnaise, salt, and pepper, and mix well, mashing slightly.

Toast the slices of sandwich bread. Spread the first mixture on one slice, cover with another slice, spread the jelly or jam, add another slice, then spread the vegetable mixture, and finish with the last slice. Wrap the sandwich tightly in plastic wrap and cut in half.

Feel free to adjust to your taste. For example, you can make a version without vegetables by using one layer of egg mayonnaise and one layer of crab mayonnaise.
