Ingredients

  1. 1 lbRaw Shrimp (peeled, deveined and tails removed)
  2. 1 Tbspmustard
  3. 2 TbsLouisiana Hot Sauce
  4. 2Eggs
  5. 1 1/3 cupsFlour
  6. 1 tbsp.Onion Powder
  7. 1 tbsp.Garlic Powder
  8. 1 tbsp.Salt
  9. 1 tbsp.Ground Black Pepper
  10. 2 tsp.Cayenne Pepper
  11. 2 tsp.Paprika
  12. 2 tsp.Old Bay Seasoning
  13. 3 tbspcornstarch
  14. Vegetable Oil (for frying)
  15. Blackened Ranch Sauce
  16. 1/2 cupMayonnaise
  17. 1/4 cupSour Cream
  18. 1/2 cupButtermilk
  19. 1/2 tsp.Old bay seasoning
  20. 1/2 tsp.Dried Parsley Flakes
  21. 1 tsp.Thyme
  22. 1 tsp.Black pepper
  23. Salt if required

Cooking Instructions

    Start by peeling and washing your shrimp thoroughly! Add the egg, mustard and Louisiana sauce and mix your shrimp thoroughly! Marinate for 30 minutes.

    Mix all your dry seasoning ingredients in a Tupperware with lid or ziplock bag. Mix it thoroughly. Heat up your oil.

    Dip your shrimp in batches in your flour mixture. Mix thoroughly by shaking your Tupperware or ziplock bag several times. Add it to the hot oil and do the same for the remaining shrimp.

    Strain your cooked shrimp in a strainer and let it cool a bit before transferring it to your serving plate.

    Prepare your sauce by mixing all the ingredients in a separate bowl.
